Located on the southeastern facing slopes of the mountains separating the Pacific Ocean from the Salinas Valley in Monterey County, Rosella’s Vineyard is truly one of California’s “grand cru” vineyards. Foggy mornings, strong afternoon coastal winds, and great sun exposure provide for a long growing season. And in the master hands of grower/owner Gary Franscioni, the result is Syrah of uncommon complexity, with notes of ruby-red grapefruit and white pepper.
